Today has been a busy day. This morning Lauri and I were supposed to meat up at the wetlands with Brooke to go kayaking. Of course we were late. We didn't realize that there was an extra paddle in her car so we tied our boats together and Lauri toted me along, using the one paddle. Brooke is only about 5 foot tall an we were using her kayaks. So, not realizing that the boat is adjustable I just hung my feet out the edges of the boat. What a sight we were.This is what you're supposed to look like when you're in the boat. No just imagine me with my but on the seat and my dang legs hanging over the sides. We tried not to be seen because it was obviously silly. On our way back to the dock Lauri's boat flipped right over. We ended up walking back along the shoreline. I don't know that I'm going to try that again any time soon. Now, more than 12 hours later my tail bone is still sore.

After that we met up with Laura to start visiting the homes in the Parade of Homes. We only made it to 4 of the homes. I love looking at the new trends and styles. So far I've not been too impressed with the homes. We'll finish up next weekend and maybe I'll have better news about the homes to come. I'll bring my camera along just in case I find something fantastic and interesting.
