Ticks in Nebraska

We headed for Nebraska Monday night. We made pretty good time. Larry (Lauri's Dad), Lauri and I took turns driving and we finally rolled in around 4pm last night. Everybody just cashed out and took a nap.

This morning Lauri and I went for a walk to the church to get Logan. For some fantastic reason we had decided to take Tigger with us. Once we got there Logan said, "Hey Andrea, Tigger has a tick in his ear, aren't ticks your favorite?" GROSS!!

Logan helped Lauri do a little surgery on the dog. They used alcohol, and tweezers to remove it.
Poor Tigger, I feel for ya!

The girls came for an action packed sleepover. They decided
to keep their pets close for company through the night.

Sophie, Jada, their pets (Patches the cat, Ellie the elephant,
and Sassy the tiger) and I finally got to bed around midnight.

Sophie was the first to wake up (7:00 am)

Jada said, "Um, Andy, you look like a maniac."

She'd never admit that she fell asleep during the day.

We went to the store to get eggs to make cookies.
After I'd put all my items on the counter and paid for
them Jada turns to me from in the cart and says, "Um,
Andy, you might need this." She unrolled her dress and
handed me an egg. "Um, I was just keeping it warm for you".
The cashieer and the bagger couldn't help but giggle.

Farkel

Emily and Matt
came over to play cards on Saturday night.

Larry and Jana
taught us how to play Farkel (a dice game simmilar to my mom's
dice game called Greed).

Macie, Me and Lauri
were so happy to have their company.
