How to avoid a UTI

I can't tell you how excited I am to be finished with Patho. Thursday was my last day of class and the final. I really enjoyed the class but it took up a lot of time. It seemed like I was either driving to and from class, staying in Ogden or working all the time. Not that I've done a lot, but it's been nice to have the last few days to do some dishes, laundry and so on.

Last week in class we were talking about the urinary system and UTI's. Dr. Weeks was explaining what to do to treat a UTI. "You see, the solution to polution is dilution." Then he went on to mention that people should urinate often, drink lots of water and cranberry juice. Then he said, "but I'd just go have a margarita, a cranberry margarita at that."

So in lue of the end of Patho and of course to avoid a UTI I think I'll have to go celebrate this weekend. I don't know if anyone makes cranberry margarita's but it's worth a look see. So, here's to the weekend and the next four weeks of not driving to Ogden. My next class is online and I intend to take it easy and catch up on my blogging.
