On Saturday, Katie ran the Top of Utah marathon. It's really amazing that anyone's body and soul could endure a run like that. It's so cool. Anyway, for lunch we all met up at 1st dam for a little get together. As always, it was a blast to see everybody. We had a great time in the canoe, in the sand pit, catching fish and even feeding the ducks. Annie was so cute, I finally herd her mutter a few words. It seems like she's always so shy, but I did witness her flirting with the ducks a little. She'd throw a piece of bread right down my her feet so that the duck would actually have to come all the way over to her. She giggled and said "duck" with such enthusiasm. How adorable!
It's almost believable that Nathan caught all the fish... except for the fact that he really didn't want to get that close to them. He did hold the fishing pole, he even got to reel in a fish. However, after that he really didn't want anything to do with the "slimy" things.
You can tell that Jed is just so excited about having to help me steer the canoe. If you look real close you can almost see a smile in there. Coleman and Nathan were so concerned that we'd tip the boat over and that it'd be too deep to save ourselves. And, unfortunately, we had no luck in catching a duck from off the pond.
